Deepak was born on November 3, 1995, in the Sonipat district of Haryana, India, into a sporting family. His father, Jagdish Narwal, represented India at the Asian Games. He has been interested in kabaddi since when he was a child. He used to get manifested by senior kabaddi players in his community. Deepak learned all the fundamentals of the sport from his father. He studied in a government school.
Adulthood
Narwal’s father was a big motivator and supporter of his decision to pursue the sport. He achieved his bachelor’s degree from Panjab University. Deepak toiled and diligently practiced the sport daily. He got successful in 2015 after being named in the Patna Pirates team for the second PKL season.
