  • Rohit Sharma not selected and K L Rahul became vice caption:

On October 18, Rohit Sharma injured his hamstring  during the super exciting twins super over encounter against Kings XI Punjab. After that match Rohit has been sitting on the bench, seeing this injury he is not been added in the Squad for upcoming Australian tour.

Since Rohit Sharma is absent from Indian team and due to this post of vice caption became vacant, to fill that post  of  the vice captain  KL Rahul is given the charge, Rahul  performed exceptionally good in this on-going IPL.

  • Sehwag questioning BCCI over Rohit Sharma’s omittion:

“Even I have no update on Rohit Sharma’s injury status. The media should ask this question. Earlier it was told that he is unwell, if he is unwell then what is he doing inside the stadium. He was seen during both matches. If he is unwell then he should be on bed rest to recover as soon as possible. So, clearly he is not unwell,” Sehwag said to cricbuzz

  • Family can accompany with players during the tour:

The wives and children can go with the Indian cricketers on the 10 weeks tour of Australia, the Indian cricket board has guaranteed the players.

The BCCI were earlier hesitant to permit families because of intense quarantine protocols in Australia but changed their decision after several request from a couple of senior players.

  • Selection of Surya Kumar Yadav:

The BCCI is under huge criticism for neglecting  Surya Kumar Yadav from Indian squad, as he was playing exceptionally well in IPL and helped Mumbai Indians to win several matches.

BCCI Said Surya Kumar Yadav is very inconsistent so they did not consider him for this tour of Australia.

So what do you think, will India be able to win these series and make us proud and what do you think about and dropping of Rohit Sharma was his injury so severe, is Surya Kumar Yadav capable of playing  in Indian team??
