Early Life
- Pawan Kumar Sehrawat was born on 9 July 1996 in New Delhi. He started playing kabaddi at the age of 12. He won a lot of awards during his school and college life. Pawan’s biggest inspiration was his father. While the second year of graduation, his job took place on TT posts in Indian Railways, and he discontinued his studies. Pawan completed his graduation from Delhi University.
Indian Railways Career
- Pawan has represented Indian Railways in the Senior National Championship, where he used to play the role of defender till some time ago. While playing in Indian Railways, he started playing a raider’s role and impressed everyone with his performance.
- Pawan’s best performance in the Senior National Championship was against Karnataka, in which he scored a total of 18 points.
- Pawan’s performance was extraordinary in the Senior National Kabaddi Championship and Federation Cup. Due to this, Bengaluru Bulls bought Pawan Sehrawat for ₹ 52.8 lakh in 2016.
Pro Kabaddi Career
- Pawan Kumar Sehrawat made his Pro Kabaddi League debut in season 3. This season was not very good for him. In the 13 matches played by him this season, he collected only 53 points for the team Bangalore Bulls, which includes 8 tackle points and 45 raid points.
- Season 4 also did not do much for Pawan while playing for Bengaluru Bulls, and here too, he could earn only 11 points for his team.
- In the next season, i.e., season 5, he was included in Gujarat Fortunegiants. It seemed that his luck would change a bit after joining the new team, but this time, nothing happened, and here he played in 9 matches for the team and scored 10 Raid Points.
- Season 6 was the best for Pawan Sehrawat career so far, where he was once again included by the Bengaluru Bulls, and this time he did not disappoint them.
- In this season, he played a total of 24 matches, making a total of 282 points to his name, including 271 raid points. For this strong performance, he was made the ‘Most Valuable Player’ of season 6.
